These guys are absolutely stunning to look at and will add the perfect pop of color to any bioactive enclosure! Super easy to care for, these neon orange springtails will do their job as a clean-up crew by eating organic debris in your reptile or isopod enclosure.
There is currently differing thought on the actual species of neon orange springtails, but from what we have read among experts, the most likely correct genus is protonura. The other possible genus would be bilobella, so you may also see this species listed elsewhere as Bilobella braunerae.

Whatever their scientific name is, they are a beautiful and effective clean-up crew for humid enclosures! We keep ours on a wood/soil mixture and feed Pangea Growth & Breeder, as well as Repashy Morning Wood. They reproduce quickly and have been known to even outcompete some other more common springtail species when added to an already-established colony.
