The cleanup crew for any bio-active enclosure! These are pretty prolific, medium-large-sized isopod species that thrive well in medium-humid environments. Great for breaking down fecal matter, rotting foliage, and organic debris in your bioactive enclosures. Armadillidium vulgare ‘St. Lucia’ are a medium-sized isopod found on the island of Santa Lucia. They are appropriately referred to as the jelly bean isopod because of their colorful mixture in a single colony. They can range from yellow to orange to a really nice dark burgundy, to even cool shades of gray. Similar to other vulgare isopods, they grow to about 3/4 inch.
